That's some fine, fine work with classic tools. The posture, the facial perspective, those blue-to-green gradients. Plus, that crazy lime mojo lariat. Not that I have any issue with the vectors most pony-types use, but this is a true breath of fresh air.

woah, cheers ^_^
it was all jus' a kinda spur of the moment thing, i didn' plan any of it, sometimes thats the best way to go about anythin' methinks.
yeea, i don't mind the vectors but after a while i jus' crave for some detail.

I hear you on the detail-I, for one, dig it when a smidgen more anatomy (e.g. muscled forequarters & actual hooves) is applied to the MLP template-though I'm OK with the faces as they were, since actual horse-faces...not quite as expressive.

Anyhow, killer edit: that deeper darkness adds a real sense of depth, and the outline just POPS.

yerp, it can be very good if its carried off well, i like to see other people's own styles applied to ponies too, there's a bit too much of just copying the style as exact as possible.

thanks! that was how i wanted it too look :D
